Victoria’s mental health workforce has undergone significant change and transformation. Our MHV NDIS Workforce Development (Psychosocial Capabilities) Project focuses on building the foundational mental health capabilities and recovery-oriented practice of frontline NDIS workers. The project is supported by DHHS NDIS Transition Support funding.

With funding from State Trustees Australia Fund, Mental Health Victoria currently oversees a project aimed at integrating consumer control and choice principles into service design and delivery across the ageing, disability and mental health sectors.

As part of the Working For Victoria initiative Mental Health Victoria has been funded by the Jobs Victoria to conduct a training needs analysis and map service workforces across the Victoria non-clinical mental health system.

Victoria’s mental health workforce is currently undergoing significant change and transformation. With funding from the Victorian Government’s Transition Support Package, Mental Health Victoria is supporting providers to understand the implications of the change and prepare for how to support their workforce in the new NDIS environment.
