This interactive webinar course is designed to increase the confidence and skills of individual professionals to improve outcomes for LGBTIQ+ colleagues and clients through the practical application of knowledge gained from the foundational course True Colours: Introduction to LGBTIQ+ Inclusive Practice.

Who's it for?

This full-day training will enhance your knowledge and skills in working with people who use violence. You'll explore the dynamics of coercive control and the intersection of mental health and the use of family violence. The learning activities will enable you to recognise and avoid invitations to collude with client narratives that deny, minimise or justify the choice to use violence and abuse in relationships. You'll practice applying strategies to work with shame, promote accountability and address barriers to change to increase victim-survivor safety.
