Mental Health Victoria (MHV) is proud to partner with Alfred Mental and Addiction Health to deliver the Statewide Support Program for the Victorian Government’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals Graduate and Early Career Program.

This program is a key part of Victoria’s mental health reform, supporting early career professionals to learn, thrive and contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary services in Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals across the state.

What we’re Doing

Together, MHV and Alfred Health are helping shape a consistent, high-quality learning experience for early career mental health professionals by: 

• Developing and coordinating training resources tailored to the Local Services model. 
• Delivering support to educators across Victoria through coaching, resource development, and communities of practice. 
• Facilitating state-wide collaboration between services to ensure every early career professional has access to meaningful learning opportunities – regardless of where they work. 
• Working collaboratively with MIND to support alignment with the lived and living experience early career program.
