MHV supporting NGO and Area Services partnerships

09
Aug, 2022

Mental Health Victoria is pleased to be working with Victorian mental health and wellbeing NGOs to support their participation in the co-design and partnership process with the Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.

As proposed by the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System, the new partnership model will expand opportunities and agency for NGOs to partner with Area Services to collectively deliver supports across the life span.

These partnerships will allow the NGO sector to bring its shared expertise to support the highest standard of treatment, care and support for Victorians.

Across August and early September, MHV will be engaging broadly with NGOs to understand concerns and supports required for the partnership with Area Services, and for NGOs to help build the foundations of a new effective partnership model.

NGO sector representatives are invited to attend online focus group discussions. Sessions will be held on Thursday 1 September. Pending numbers, sessions will be run across 10am-3pm. We will be in touch with session times closer to the day. Click here to register your attendance.
