Lived Experience workforce grants: Round 3 open now

May, 2022

The third round of the Lived Experience Workforce Grants Program, aimed at enhancing lived experience leadership across the mental health workforce, is now open.

The Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System recommended that the transformed system should be designed, delivered and led by people with lived experience.

This grants program, administered by Mental Health Victoira on behalf of the Department of Health, aims to support this foundational part of the reform agenda.

"The Royal Commission recommended that lived experience be at the centre of the new reformed system," said Leila Senior, Program Lead and Mental Health Victoria Policy Advisor.

"These grants will play a key role in ensuring that this happens. We are thrilled to be able to provide them on behalf of the Victorian Government.

"We believe this program will help the lived experience workforce in our state to flourish, both now and in the future," she said. "This will be good news for all Victorians."
