Who We Are

Mental Health Victoria is the independent peak body and trusted voice on mental health and wellbeing for the state.

MHV’s work ensures that the experiences and perspectives of the mental health and wellbeing sector and Victorian community are understood, represented, and central to public policy decisions that result in positive mental health outcomes for Victorian’s.

MHV’s Associate program complements the organisation’s purpose by convening mental health service providers from the public health, private, non-government, community health, and allied sector organisations as leaders in mental health and wellbeing in collective advocacy, shared learning, and innovation.

MHV is committed to being of service to the Victorian community through support of local initiatives and contribution to an informed public conversation about mental health and wellbeing.

Associates

MHV's work doesn't happen in isolation.

Behind every submission, every policy position, and every advocacy win is a network of organisations bringing insights and expertise into the room; the perspectives of their workforces, the voices of their communities, and the day-to day understanding of what it actually takes to meet the mental health needs of Victorians.

MHV Associates, drawn from public, private, and not-for-profit services across the state are that network. Diverse in their experience, their geography, and the communities they serve, they are united by a single goal: a Victoria where everyone can be mentally healthy.

MHV Associates aren’t just supporters of a worthy cause, they make an active contribution on the issues that matter to their organisation and the people they serve.
