Mentis Assist

Position: Senior Mental Health Clinician (AASW /AHPRA registered) 2 positions, part time

Overview: Providing accessible mental health interventions to people with mild to moderate mental illness. This can include people experiencing homelessness, those with substance abuse disorders and /or people who have experienced family violence. The incumbents will be responsible for assessing clients and delivering focused psychological strategies (psycho-education, relaxation techniques, cognitive-behavioural therapy, skills training, interpersonal therapy, narrative therapy) working within a defined scope of practice for the role.  The position is expected to practice collaboratively, working with clinicians from other services. Registration with AHPRA (Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists) or AASW (Mental Health Social Workers) is essential. Located at Narre Warren, Frankston or Mornington.

Overview: The Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC-PYP) aims to provide an integrated range of basic maintenance and support services for people aged under 65 years or under 50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) and their carers: HACC Linkages Package provides individually tailored case management and supports to people who have more complex support needs. People will have a range of interacting physical, medical, social and emotional needs and require assistance to organise and coordinate both formal and informal supports. Located at Mornington.
